The Oregon Civil War

I went to a sports bar called Sidlines after eating dinner with some Oregon State fans and my dad. Over half of the game had been played before I arrived, so I missed some of the bigger reactions to the great first half plays by both teams. Here are a couple pictures of people enjoying the game, one rad Oregon athletic shirt, and some laces.

After a go-ahead touchdown score.

You Are Dog Food, Yeeah!

I worked out the opportunity to photograph the theatrical Gore/Metal band that is GWAR (say it like it looks), and along with two friends, we just about got in to the Midtown Ballroom and were immediately excited. Gwar's stage show is just as brutal and awesome as you'd think from one look at their outrageous "costumes."

This guy was there..
So was this guy.

Remember to Give Thanks, Downtown, Bend

I Have Been Really Excited to Give Thanks Lately. I feel like Coming Home from the Philippines was the best thing I've done and I'm Finally settled Into the right spot. It's been great to sit back and enjoy the surroundings, espescially since it's warmed up a bit here. I'm regaining lost confidence and experiencing a new way of Thinking. And I Crushed some golf balls today, 3 or 4 over the net almost 250 yards away. I made sure to take my time and enjoy what I was doing, and it felt great.

Car Bomb

I have an Aunt type, one of my mother's friends from way back, who has known me for the entirety of my life. She sends me internet cards on holidays and birthdays. This one was sent for St. Patrick's Day and I think it's pretty special. I was happy to recieve it. The ending is the best.

CALI CALI CALI

This past week I was down in california for a visit and a Funeral. These are from in and around the streeets of Long Beach and Sacremento, California. It was great to be back in California. I haven't felt the urban sprawl in a while and it was good to be able to get outside and spend some time in the salty air.
Getting on the road I stopped at a rest stop or two to go to the bathroom and get a few snaps. and on my way through S-Town I checked out the downtown area which is kinda nice when the sun is setting. It seemed really quite and empty, save for the shouts of voices on the back and forth by the Hard Rock Cafe.

Winterfest 09

This weekend there was a Snow/Ski/Winter themed festival. It was mainly for local shops and artisans to share their wares and had the feel of a farmer's market, with an added Nordic Ski track (not to be confused with the NordicTrak) and an event called Rail Jam. Rail Jam was a bunch of amateur snowboarders and skiers running through a couple decent sized jumps and rails in free-for-all fashion. So many close calls of kids flying into other kids. These guys made snowboarding look difficult. It got pretty cold so we left at dark.
